Lorena Espada

Lorena Espada holds over 18 years of experience as a facility management professional in diverse sectors such as Retail, Financial and Telco. Lorena holds a master’s degree in Facility Management by the University of La Rioja and is a certified professional coach by the European Coaching Institute. As the Corporate Real Estate Global Lead for Change and Special programs at Chubb Insurance, she works with management to identify areas of opportunity and develop an overall Facility Management change, strategy, and roadmap, focusing on driving efficiency improvements to better employee experience in their offices and services while optimizing costs for the company.

Lorena´s areas of specialty include office optimization and consolidation, integrated workplace design, contract negotiation and resource management and planning. Additionally, her passion for change management and people leadership in the FM industry, has allowed her to be a collaborating teacher at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, as part of their master’s degree in Facility Management, where she has been teacher on Mobility Plans, Change Management and People Management in FM.

Since joining IFMA in 2009, she has actively participated as part of the IFMA Spanish Chapter taking responsibility for the women in FM group from 2011 until 2016 and joining the Spain Chapter Board of Directors in 2012. She has also led several local work groups such as the FM Mentoring Group, from 2015 to 2017 and the Workplace work group until 2021. Elected Vice-President for the 2-year term of office from 2017 to 2019, Lorena was IFMA´s Spain Chapter elected President for the term 2019-2021.
