Christa Dodoo

Christa Dodoo is a facility management professional with more than 21 years of experience in facility and real estate management, project management, vendor contract management, process improvement and performance management. She is a certified ISO 22301 Business Continuity Lead Implementer and a Certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence.

In her current role as the chief of infrastructure and facilities at the United Nations World Food Programme, Dodoo directs a multidisciplinary team responsible for a global real estate portfolio spanning more than 680 office facilities in 125 countries. She also oversees strategy planning for global asset management, occupational safety, HQ operations and maintenance engineering, energy efficiency programming, workspace management, audio-video services and events management. Dodoo has diverse experience in managing facilities across various sectors in Ghana, the United States, Austria and Italy. With degrees in both real estate and facility management, she is an intentional facility manager with a passion for mentoring young facilities professionals and helping organizations improve their long-term FM policies while implementing efficient workplace practices.

A member of IFMA since 2009, Dodoo was instrumental in the formation of the IFMA Ghana Chapter. She has served on IFMA’s Global Board of Directors since 2021, was the second vice chair in 2023-24 and an IFMA Chapter Champion. She serves on the IFMA Foundation and IFMA EMEA boards as liaison. She is a member of IFMA’s Corporate Facilities Council, as well as the Workplace Evolutionaries Community. Dodoo served as an executive committee member for the African Facilities Management Association from 2021-22 and is a certified member of the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management. Dodoo devotes her time in developing the FM industry through educational programming and building FM networks through mentoring, training and presentations. She earned her FMP® in 2014 and CFM® in 2015.
